MALLRAT MAKES US TELEVISION DEBUT – PERFORMS ‘CHARLIE’ ON
THE LATE LATE SHOW WITH JAMES CORDEN

“Mallrat reaches a new songwriting peak on the emotional ‘Charlie’” – The Interns

“The 20-year-old is selling out shows in Australia and overseas for songs that capture the melodrama of Gen Z life.”
– The Guardian

“Overall, Mallrat’s adoration of the outdoors, her childhood, and of course, her dog, as seen in her new video, are enough to make anyone reminisce on past, simpler times.”
– Paper Magazine

Having spent the last few years conquering the globe with her musical brilliance and charming personality, Australian modern pop superstar Mallrat took the next big step of her career overnight, making her US television debut performing her massive hit ‘Charlie’ on The Late Late Show With James Corden.

The performance was a peak moment in the life of ‘Charlie,’ a song that has been recognised as a special moment in Mallrat’s evolution as an artist, ever since it was released in August. The TV audience seemed to lap up the combination of woozy piano chords and Mallrat’s subtle, vulnerable vocals in her patented lackadaisical and charming delivery style, just as much as her devoted fans have done every day since it dropped in August.

Mallrat’s TV appearance also caps off a huge year for the Brisbane-raised star, real name Grace Shaw, who released her third EP, Driving Music, in September – which went straight to #10 on the ARIA charts – and has been heralded by critics for its lyrical honesty and artistic maturity.

This year has been full of highlights for the 20-year-old singer-songwriter-producer, including supporting international stars Maggie Rogers and King Princess on international tours, as well as mounting huge tours across the US and Australia with her friend and collaborator Allday.

She is now about to mount her first headline shows in the UK and Europte, before returning to Australia for a run of festival dates in November and December. Tickets and info are all below.
